Pillars Jachin & Boaz
Two massive bronze pillars standing before the porch of Solomon's temple — the right named Jachin (he shall establish) and the left Boaz (in him is strength). Eighteen cubits high with five-cubit capitals wreathed with lily-work and pomegranates.
Symbolic meaning
The two words at the gate: He establishes; in Him is strength.
Christological significance
The overcomer is made a pillar in the temple of God (Rev 3:12).
